SailProof Unveils New Marine Touchscreens: Innovation in the Service of Sailing

After nearly five years leading the rugged device sector in the nautical industry and placing its tablets aboard high-performance racing boats such as the AC75, IMOCA, Class40, or Figaro Beneteau, SailProof is taking a step further. With proven presence and durability in epic and historic competitions such as the Fastnet Rolex, the Vendée Globe, the America’s Cup, and The Ocean Race — and after exploring from tropical seas to the poles in multiple expeditions — SailProof launches its new range of marine touchscreens for outdoor use.

The new line of displays — from the affordable 10” model to the professional 13” and 15” ones — responds to a growing need identified among its clients: the ability to use a PC onboard with the same robustness, reliability, and performance that define SailProof.

The Voice of Those Who Test SailProof
This development comes from listening to those who use SailProof tablets daily under extreme conditions, with demanding software such as Adrena, MaxSea TimeZero, or Expedition, among others. “Our clients are the ones who put every product to the test at sea; their needs guide our path,” states the SailProof team.

Key Features of the New SailProof Range
– High-brightness screen: readable in direct sunlight (up to 1500 NITS).
– Fully IP67 waterproof: designed to withstand any marine environment.
– High-performance touchscreen: operable even with gloves or wet hands, with the ability to disable the touch function in harsh conditions (13 and 15-inch models).
– Three sizes available: 10.1”, 13.3”, and 15.6”, tailored to the needs of each sailor.
– Screen proportions adapted to modern software: 16:10 for the 10-inch model, 16:9 for the 13 and 15-inch models.
– Compatible with Garmin GPSMAP devices: to easily duplicate Garmin chartplotters.
– Wide operating temperature range: from -20°c to +70°c.

With this new product line, SailProof not only expands its portfolio but also reinforces its commitment to developing nautical technology that simplifies life onboard, avoiding unnecessary add-ons and focusing on the performance and reliability sailors demand.
